Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT.), Chiang Mai Office would like to invite everyone to experience the parade of more than 25 fabulous flower floats at the opening ceremony of the 37th Chiang Mai Flower Festival on 2nd February, 2013 at 08.00 a.m. onward from Nawarat bridge to Thapae road, Kotchasarn road, Changlor road and then to Arak road (Nong Buak Haad Public Park)
It’s annually held on the first Friday-Saturday and Sunday of February, from 1st-3rd February, 2013 at Nong Buak Haad Public Park and Thapae Gate. Enjoy more than 25 flower floats, Miss Flower & Miss Flower Blooming Beauty Contest, the agricultural exhibition and fair, the contest and exhibition of flower arrangement, decorative plants, and mini garden landscaping, local products fair, and music shows in the park from 09.00-24.00 Hrs.

Chinese New Festival in Nakhon Sawan


 Chinese New Festival in Nakhon Sawan is a grand celebration full of excitement throughout 11-day-period of the festival. The festivities are held in honour of Chao Poh Pak Nam Pho. The procession comes with spectacular acrobatic performances such as climbing up an over 10-metre pole to get the money reward on the top. Local people will pay homage to Chao Phor and Chaoe Mae Pak Nam Pho, the guardian spirits of Nakhon Sawan province. Also, the visitors are invited to take part in merit-making activities at Lan Boon Thepachao, the Garden of Chinese Deities.

“Wondering Nakornsawun Chinese New Year – Celebration for 84 years of H.M. The King”
Date: January 27 - February 7, 2011 (12 days)
Venue: Nakornsawun Province

Activities:
- merit yard of deity's garden, revising bad things, changing bad fortune through a ceremony according to Chinese's belief
- Lantern sculpture yard (12 constellations, angels, god of dragon)
- Floating stage with special effect of sound and light
- dancing water curtain and performances over the water (Chao Phraya River)
- China Town is represent for many Chinese cultural from various district in Nakornsawun province such as an auspicious Chinese alphabet writing for giving out to participants, a Chinese prophesy (Huang Jui) by skillfully profession, making and selling Chinese's tea etc.
- Chinese and international food fair
- City decorations to celebration for 84 years of H.M. The King (honor arch and exhibition)
- Lantern Festival in the whole town
- Countrywide dressing with Chinese dress campaign
